Notice for Au Pairs in Paris - APOP Member Meet UP on FRIDAY!

Hey Au Pairs,

We’re in Paris this week and we’re absolutely having a ball (and perhaps spending a little too much money…) Travelling back to a city you know well and visiting the places you loved when you lived here is so different to being a tourist in a new place.

Although we loved getting lost in Norway and seeing lots of new sites, being back in Paris has a comforting feeling. (Plus, the weather is 1,000 times better so we’re pretty happy about that.)

We’re spending WAY too much money in our fave cafes and bars. #PARISLIFE

We’ve been filming lots of vlogs for our YouTube channel and taking hundreds of pictures for Instagram. Most exciting is that we’ve already got to meet a few of you! On Monday we met up with au pairs in Montmartre and ate crepes while admiring the beautiful view of the city’s famous rooftops.

Tomorrow, we’re hosting a meet-up at one of our absolute favourite bars in the city. If you’re an APOP Member, make sure to come and hang out (and bring your friends this time!)

We’ll be people watching, chatting and drinking some delicious French wine. What’s not to love about that? Become an APOP Member, here.

In other au pair news, This week’s video was an Instagram Q&A. We answered as many as we could. They ranged from “are you guys still au pairs?” (not anymore!) to “should I tell my host family I’m gay". To answer this last question, we have an absolutely awesome blog post soon to come from an au pair in Italy, Jamie. This post will be going up within the week, so make sure to look out for that!

Right, we’re off to go and watch some live music. Last year we saw one of our fave bands ever play and we loved their support act SO much that for my birthday present this year, Edwina bought us tickets to see them live! If you see us out this evening, we’ll be on CLOUD NINE - make sure to say hi!
